Today on Boot Nation, we feature two videos from girls wearing combat boots as part of their Outfit-of-the-Day videos. As OOTD's these are obviously Not punk girls, but rather they are borrowing the punk look of combat boots and combine them with very feminine looks. The contrast is adorable and they still get all the power of wearing combat boots!
First up is "stylewithasia". She defintely not a punk girl at all. In fact, she is the opposite, but she has combat boots on, so we're not going to argue with her. She posted the below video on August 20, 2011. As a bonus, we get to see some of her shoe collection hanging on her closet door...

Boot Nation loves all kinds of knee high boots because they all symbolize power. But combat boots symbolize a much more tangible kind of power than just plain sexy knee high or thigh high boots. All boots can be used for kicking.. but combat boots are Made for kicking ass. Literally! So this week, we want to focus on the "ugly cousins" of the boot world. They may not have the sexy high heel, but steel toes on cute little feet are such a sexy contrast we absolutely Love them. When girls wear thigh-high boots, they feel an overwhelming sense of sexual power, but they feel physically vulnerable at the same time. When girls wear steel-toe combat boots, they feel a sense of physical power, knowing they can easily kick someone into submission to the point where the person would rather lick her boots for mercy than get kicked by her anymore. Girls LOVE that power! Getting kicked by steel toe combat boots is not fun. It just plain hurts! Bring it on, girls!

Breaking News: Boot Nation just recieved it's 1000th pageview! It is a modest milestone, but we like to celebrate in Boot Nation. One Thousand pageviews means we are being watched by friends, ourselves and even the goddesses we worship. The 1000th pageview was a U.S. reader and Anne Hathaway and her Thigh-High boots were the attraction. Today is the 45th day of Boot Nation, so that's rougly an average of 22 pageviews per day. Not too bad. We have great positioning with Google, so that will guide many more readers to Boot Nation.
After spending the last two weeks obsessing over thigh-high boots, next week we get punked and feature Combat Boot Week. Annalee Penny has been named Miss Boot Nation 2012!
Boot Nation needs a Boot Girl and the obvious and overwhelming choice was Annalee Penny. Annalee, AP is formerly a Fox Sacramento TV personality. She has since left Fox and is using the internet to broaden her popularity, similary to Connan O'Brien. AP blogs on a wide range of topics including hair & makeup, fashion, BOOTS and a million other topics!
Annalee has been named Miss Boot Nation for three reasons. One, she is absolutey Adorable! She has a very positive, fun personality. She makes anything seem interesting, just because she is interested in it. Two, Annalee is regular person just like you and me, so she is very receptive and warm to her fans! Lastly, she really LOVES Knee-High boots in all kinds of colors, fabrics and styles. She posted several photos of her boots on her FaceBook page, so she really does wear knee-high boots a lot!

MADYFASHIONSTYLE is a Spanish blogger, so to be honest, I have no idea what she is saying If anyone would like to translate for us, we would be very grateful! She has made 47 videos, has over 3500 subscribers and her videos have been viewed over 350,000 times. Wow.

In the above video, posted on February 4, 2012, MADYFASHIONSTYLE shows us four pairs of fabulous knee-high boots! All are very distinct. For the last two minutes and forty-five seconds, she breaks out her thigh-high boots with the metal studs and blows us away!

She is a natural dancer and dances in her boots to both tease us and show off her boots. Her boots don't start until almost five minutes into the video, but they are worth it! Be warned!

If you thought yesterday was the pinacle of boot blogging and it was downhill from there, today we rasied the bar 4" with DiorableXoXo and her Over-the-Knee black high-heel boots! DiorableXoXo has made 15 videos so far. She has 240 subscibers including Boot Nation and her videos have been viewed over 88,000 times. She started fashion blogging in August of last year so her videos are getting great attention for obvious reasons!

One of my favorite things about DiorableX is her confidence. She has very strong opinions and is obviously a very dominant girl. In the above video, she crushes all her haters with her powerful boots on!  She wears knee-high boots a lot, so she's perfect for Boot Nation! We should all bow down to her and her thigh-high boots and welcome her to Boot Nation!!
